ACTAEA `PINK SPIKE` (CIMICIFUGA)

Long pale pink spikes bloom in late summer and are sweetly scented – some say like honey others like grapes. Finely cut fern-like foliage is dark purple and makes an excellent backdrop for other shade-loving perennials.
