Description

Japanese Skimmia is a small evergreen shrub that has a mounded habit and aromatic whorls of glossy dark green leathery foliage with lighter undersides.  The terminal panicles of fragrant creamy white flowers bloom in mid spring.  Red berries follow in fall.  Grows best in part shade and rich, well drained acidic soils.
