We at Bayside Garden Center is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer receives the best customer service possible.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide exemplarily customer service
- Complete customer transactions using point of sale register systems
- Offer help and provide direct assistance to customers
- Provide in-depth product knowledge including features, benefits, and overall value
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Ability to communicate promotions to customers
- Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons
- Maintain the store’s appearance, including stocking and performing general housekeeping duties
- May cross train to perform other duties
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous Retail experience desired
- Outstanding customer service skills and exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
- Must maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic
- Ability to lift 20-40 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible retail schedule, including evening and weekends
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
