Bayside Garden Center – Retails Sales Associate Job Description
Searching for Part-time & Full-time Associates to assist in a wide array of daily functions of our Floral Design Shop, including merchandising, floral design, maintaining and selling product, while ensuring our patrons have a positive customer experience.
This position requires a self-motivated leader, proficient in computers, who also excels in customer service and interpersonal relations. Experience in the Floral industry is desired, with prior experience working with Floral Wire Service and strong organizational skills.
Job Overview & Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Customer engagement for selection, purchasing and inquiries
- Thorough, daily completion of all Order Paperwork and Wire Service transactions
- Social Media updates and customer outreach
- Process, organize and display floral wholesale deliveries
- Basic Floral Design Arrangements
- Merchandise product in clean and attractive displays
- Maintain clean and tidy work space
Position Requirements include (not limited to):
- Schedule flexibility, including evenings, weekends and some Floral holidays
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Floral industry
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pull, push and lift up to 30lbs
- Able to stand for long periods of time
